This consumes the item used and is not returned on death of the Golem. The Golem calculates damage and defensives as if it had the item equipped. IronGolem * summons a special Golem that requires a piece of Metal gear (Weapons and Armor) on the ground to cast. Note: Only 1 Golem may be summoned at a time. This can be summoned even when already summoned, with no Cooldown. Before you can afford to replace your Iron Golem, this is your primary Golem summon for Crowd Control and tanking. Same goes for amulets except they are often compared to things like Mara's or crafted amulets with more than 10 fcr (they are used to meet some fcr breakpoint so as an end game gear any amulet with less fcr is not worth as much).ClayGolem * summons a tanky Golem with high Resistances, which applies a Slow Effect when striking and when struck. However if you don't have items like Shako they can be great self-use items that will carry you a long way. Really good circlets can beat the stables like Shako but are so rare that it is better to just forget that they exist. Especially if you're lucky to roll 2 open sockets in them with the first quest of act 5. I think pvp crowd can pay premium for blue circlets that have +2 class skills and 20 fcr. This includes +3 to skill tree, +2 class skills, resistances, magic find, damage reduction, life, mana, sockets, etc. When you're not having any of the end-game gear gambling circlets and amulets can both produce usable items. Trading gold is very clunky anyway so I'd just recommend that you spend half of it by gambling whenever your chest is filled. It is very difficult to find someone who is willing to trade anything of value for gold but there might be someone around if you're lucky. There is a very slim chance of obtaining something worth using though. The most common items to gamble are amulets and circlets. Gold is not 100% worthless as it can be used in gambling which has a chance to produce some great items.
